Comprising a 490-acre farm, a 29-bedroom country house hotel, a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and nine function and conference rooms, the hotel is also a unique and attractive year-round wedding venue. It’s a busy, high-quality operation where the kitchen team plays a central part in the guest experience.
The Role
This is a key role keeping a busy 2 Rosette kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly. Working closely with the chefs and the wider kitchen team, you will help maintain the exceptional standards the hotel is known for through every service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness — keeping the kitchen, storage areas and equipment clean and hygienic at all times.
- Washing, cleaning and correctly storing crockery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Managing waste and recycling — overseeing waste disposal, recycling and composting processes.
- Supporting the chefs and kitchen team — assisting with food preparation, plating and other tasks as needed.
- Monitoring stock levels — keeping track of cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Ensuring health and safety — complying with health and safety regulations and reporting any hazards or incidents.
Key Requirements
- Experience working in a kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Physical stamina for demanding kitchen work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A reliable, punctual and methodical approach to your work.
