Breakfast is a genuine part of the experience here, and it shows in the standards expected of the kitchen.
The kitchen needs an experienced Breakfast Chef who can take real ownership of the morning service and deliver a cooked-to-order breakfast to a very high standard, every single day.
The Role
You’ll run the breakfast service from setup through to service and clean-down, delivering a full cooked-to-order breakfast — from the classic full breakfast through to bespoke guest requests — working closely with the front-of-house team to keep timing and detail right every morning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a full cooked-to-order breakfast service to a consistently high standard
Prepare and set up the breakfast section ahead of service, ensuring all mise en place is completed on time
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and kitchen cleanliness throughout service
Work efficiently and calmly under pressure during peak breakfast periods
Liaise closely with the front-of-house team on guest requirements, dietary needs and timings
Support wider kitchen operations as required, working collaboratively with the broader culinary team
Key Requirements
Proven experience cooking breakfast to order at a very high standard, ideally within a hotel, inn or similar quality-led environment
A genuine passion for breakfast cookery and strong attention to detail
Ability to work calmly and efficiently under time pressure
A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
Early-morning availability
